What is Batik Clothing?

Batik is an ancient method of dying designs into fabric using hot wax as a resist to the dye.  Our designs are waxed into white fabric using a brush.  Dye is painted into the design.  When dry, the design is waxed over and the garment is hand-dyed.  The dye is then washed out.  Dry cleaning removes the wax and the fabric is washed again.  Details to the designs are added with a permanent fabric pen. 

Care Instructions

Machine Wash in cold or warm water with like colors - machine dry.  Do not hang dry.
